Your care needs may be different than what is covered by the price listed by the provider. To make sure that this is what the provider will actually charge you, you need to contact Providence Medical Center so that your price and insurance eligibility can be confirmed by the provider.
We display prices that are listed on the provider's price transparency page. We have not been able to locate a negotiated rate for your insurance plan, so you will need to contact Providence Medical Center directly for a price estimate.
As part of the US Government's Price Transparency Final Rule, hospitals are required to publish rates that they have negotiated with insurance plans. Our goal is to make it easy to compare those prices, but we are limited by the data made available by the provider.
If Providence Medical Center has additional rates available that we don't have listed, please let us know.
A Fetal Biophysical Profile (FBP) with Non-Stress Test is a procedure that uses ultrasound and fetal heartbeat monitoring to evaluate the health of a baby before birth.
This procedure is recommended for pregnant women to check on the health of their baby, usually if they are at risk for a complication before or during birth.
During this procedure, the patient will have an abdominal ultrasound to check on the baby's growth, movement, and heart rate. The patient's abdomen will be covered in a special gel to ensure a clear image. The patient will also be hooked up to a fetal monitor to review the baby's heartbeat.
After the procedure, a report will be sent to the patient's doctor that provides the results of the fetal monitor and ultrasound. Depending on the results, the doctor may recommend additional tests or procedures to monitor the baby's health.
A Fetal Biophysical Profile with Non-Stress Test is a noninvasive procedure that helps evaluate the health of a baby before birth. The procedure includes an abdominal ultrasound and a fetal heartbeat monitor, and the results are then sent to the patient's doctor.
