State-by-state heat map of hospital price transparency compliance

During the dead of winter, it can be difficult to remember the sensation of heat. That's why we at Turquoise have brought you a little bit of sun via this state-by-state heat map. Just don't forget your SPF.

Since the beginning of last year, we've seen a lot more states become transparent (or, looking at this map, go Turquoise). We're delighted to report that as of January 2022, no state is less than 30% compliant. By roughly September 2021, every state was out of the dark adopting compliance in one way or another. We'll check back in the coming months to see how these numbers change over time, especially now since fines have increased.
